Reasons To Choose eBay Over Amazon To Sell Your Products
Both eBay and Amazon are highly successful selling platforms. But differences in operations, purchasing experiences, and payments can confuse sellers, which one they would prefer to use. From branding your product to reaching your target market, there is a difference between the two platforms that can appeal to different types of sellers.
Selling high scale, unique, or handicraft items:
Amazon’s catalog system is very central to its buying and selling experience. If the item you are selling is on Amazon’s list or something similar to it, great. If not, you may have trouble ignoring Amazon, or you may find yourself buried at the end of search results.

EBay, on the other hand, offers easy-to-use and customized storefront in business, seller-defined item descriptions and pages about me, and seller member identification and opinion lists in front and center put in. Currently, sellers still maintain their identity on eBay, which is different from eBay’s identity, something impossible on Amazon.
You want flexibility and control:
In many eBay categories, sellers are free to sell out of catalogs using handmade lists. Sellers are also free to promote their goods with text and images, which they choose, not eBay. eBay equipment can be repaired or sold in many different states with minimal confusion. Success on Amazon is something more difficult to do.
eBay sellers also set their own shipping policies, return policies, and shipping charges. There are limits to eBay. If you accept returns, you must give buyers at least a 14-day window. For example but on Amazon, the policies were tight and laid out for you. This means, that returns must be accepted and buyers must be given a 30-day grace period.
Sales by category on eBay and Amazon:
Some categories on Amazon (which are used from Consumer Electronics) are not open to all sellers. Instead, sellers go through the approval process, which many refuse. eBay sellers can sell in almost any category after meeting (and maintaining) the basic needs of the eBay seller. Bank account on a credit card or file and do not make your feedback profile private.
Instant Access to Revenue:
Sales via PayPal revenue on eBay are currently available when buyers pay. It can be used instantly anywhere, whether PayPal is accepted, or even anywhere MasterCard, Visa, or debit payments are accepted for such sellers. Those who have applied for a free PayPal debit card.
Amazon sellers wait 14 days to view funds released into their Amazon Payments account. Then wait another week or so to transfer the funds to their bank account before using.
Sell Using Auction Form List:
Don’t know the value of an item or prefer to sell it by auction? Not Amazon’s luck, where you have to set a fixed price for anything sold. Sometimes without guidance if that thing is rare. On eBay, you can create auction lists, and let bidders decide how much it sells.
